Dr. Vinod Doddanavar is a distinguished leader in education, heritage conservation, and social service, with decades of transformative impact across Karnataka and Maharashtra. As Secretary of the Bharatesh Education Trust, he has shaped the educational landscape for thousands of students while championing India's irreplaceable cultural and manuscript heritage.

Education Leadership
▪ Oversees the strategic direction of 20 educational institutions under the Bharatesh Education Trust, driving quality education across multiple disciplines and regions.
▪ Spearheaded accreditations, value education programmes in schools, and the introduction of professional courses — B.Com, MCA, MBA — and the establishment of an Engineering College.
▪ Founded the Heritage Library at BET and established the Karmaveer Dr. Bhaurao Patil Library, housing over 50,000 books — a landmark scholarly resource for students and researchers.

Heritage Conservation & Cultural Leadership
▪ Serves as Convener of INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage), Belagavi Chapter — stewarding preservation of regional art, architecture and living heritage.
▪ Initiated and led the publication of "Architectural Splendors of Belagavi", documenting the heritage monuments of Belagavi district for generations to come.
▪ Led the active restoration of over five historically significant temples across Karnataka and Maharashtra.
▪ Established a Manuscripts Conservation Centre at Bahubali, Maharashtra, overseeing the restoration and digitisation of over 70,000 ancient manuscripts — protecting India's philosophical and literary inheritance.

Recognition & Honours
▪ Conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Rani Channamma University, Belagavi in 2025, in recognition of exemplary contributions to Heritage Conservation, Education and Social Service.
